Whether you’re a first time cleanser or an experienced green juice junkie we wanted to let you know how we prepare before a cleanse, during and after so that you get the most from the experience. We want you to achieve the results you’re after and make the process as enjoyable as possible. It will be a challenge, but you're worth it!
Once you book your cleanse we will send you a Cleanse Guide which will cover the areas mentioned below in more detail to make sure you're fully prepared.
For at least 3 days before your cleanse you should start to reduce or remove as much processed food, sugar, alcohol and caffeine as possible. These are the things that can cause withdrawal symptoms like headaches, so the cleaner your diet before you begin, the better.
As well as the juices we recommend you drink plenty of water or herbal teas, slow down your routine as much as possible and get plenty of rest. When it comes to exercise, listen to your body, either take a break or perhaps try something relaxing like walking or yoga.
We don’t want you to undo all the good work you have just achieved in your body, so take it easy, reintroduce food slowly and stick to healthy whole, easily digestible foods for the first few days. We hope you will feel a sense of achievement, will power, ‘my body is a temple’ type thing, so this part, as long as you plan for it, should be easy.
